Pay: $16.60/hour
Schedule:

  • Training: 1st Shift (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
  • Regular Schedule: 2nd Shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM), Monday–Friday

Job Overview

We are hiring Machine Operators to join a manufacturing team in Parsons, KS. This role is responsible for operating production machinery, maintaining quality standards, and supporting daily manufacturing operations in a safety-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate assigned machinery, including presses, welding equipment, and basic machine centers
  • Complete required operator certifications and training within the first 90 days
  • Perform basic machine maintenance tasks as part of the operator maintenance program (OMP)
  • Use tools such as saws, drills, and grinders as needed
  • Monitor production to ensure output and quality standards are met
  • Identify and report defective or unsafe products
  • Maintain accurate production records and documentation
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
  • Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • 1+ year of manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, measuring, etc.)
  • Ability to read and follow safety procedures
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
  • Ability to communicate in English for safety purposes

Physical Requirements

  • Lift up to 50 lbs
  • Stand for extended periods
  • Perform repetitive movements (bending, squatting, etc.)
  • Work in an environment with noise, dust, or temperature changes
