- Training: 1st Shift (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
- Regular Schedule: 2nd Shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM), Monday–Friday
Job Overview
We are hiring Machine Operators to join a manufacturing team in Parsons, KS. This role is responsible for operating production machinery, maintaining quality standards, and supporting daily manufacturing operations in a safety-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate assigned machinery, including presses, welding equipment, and basic machine centers
- Complete required operator certifications and training within the first 90 days
- Perform basic machine maintenance tasks as part of the operator maintenance program (OMP)
- Use tools such as saws, drills, and grinders as needed
- Monitor production to ensure output and quality standards are met
- Identify and report defective or unsafe products
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
- Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 1+ year of manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, measuring, etc.)
- Ability to read and follow safety procedures
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
- Ability to communicate in English for safety purposes
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 50 lbs
- Stand for extended periods
- Perform repetitive movements (bending, squatting, etc.)
- Work in an environment with noise, dust, or temperature changes
